Ave Maria Clock ("the App") is developed and maintained by Mark Zigadlo ("I", "me", or "my"). This Privacy Policy describes how the App handles information in connection with your use of it on Apple iOS devices.
I respect your privacy. The App is designed to function without collecting any personal data.
The App requests access to your device's location solely to calculate solar events (sunrise, sunset, solar noon, and liturgical hours) relevant to your geographic position. This calculation happens entirely on your device. Your location is never transmitted to me or any third party, and it is never stored outside of your device.
The App does not collect your name, email address, contacts, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or any other personal information.
Location data is used for one purpose only: computing the times of solar and liturgical events for your current position. It is processed in memory on your device and is not logged, uploaded, or shared in any form.
You may deny location permission at any time in your iOS Settings. If location access is denied, the App will not be able to calculate solar times automatically, but you can enter a city or zip code manually.
If you are using a pre-release version of the App distributed via Apple's TestFlight platform, Apple may collect certain diagnostic and usage information as part of their TestFlight service. This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this policy. I do not receive or have access to personally identifiable information through TestFlight.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with third parties.
Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, there is nothing to retain or delete. Your location is only held in your device's memory while the App is in use.
The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected at all, the App is safe for use by individuals of any age.
If this Privacy Policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
